​     Hello, I am Gena, and my husband Steven Burgess and I own 100% Pickled LLC, a company that specializes in pickleball equipment and training.  100% Pickled now offers court surfacing and painting services.  Our main objective is to promote and grow the sport of pickleball by introducing, teaching, and supporting both new and existing players. We have been actively involved in pickleball for over 13 years and have been coaching for 9 years.

     We are PPR Pro/coach certified, and we hold three IFP (International Federation of Pickleball) Coach certifications, evaluator certifications, and are certified to officially rank players.

     We are also certified by the YMCA to coach youth pickleball and volunteer to teach middle and high school kids through the YMCA's outreach program. It's truly fulfilling to witness these kids come in timid and leave after one lesson, having fun and hitting pickleballs!

     In addition to being licensed and insured, we also host demo days and travel to tournaments and club events. Furthermore, we donate pickleball goods baskets, a portion of our earnings, and our time back to the community to support the maintenance of multiple pickleball courts.

     In September of 2025 Steve & I were honored to be selected to be the lead coaches of  the Special Olympics of Southern Indiana, (Vanderburgh County) , Pickleball team! Our amazing athletes are training for their first tournament in August of 2026!  In just a few weeks we, along with the athlete's family and friends have seen significant improvement in TEAM 100% PICKLED!!
